Before booking our services we ask that you read over our policies for both your safety and ours.
Age Requirements
UV Tanning:

Connecticut State Law prohibits the use of UV tanning equipment by anyone under the age of 17.

A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all first-time UV tanning clients.

Bella Tan reserves the right to refuse service if age cannot be verified.
Spray Tanning:

Ages 14-17 require a parent or guardian consent form.
-
Clients under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their appointment.

Bella Tan reserves the right to refuse service if a minor is unable to follow pre- and post-care instructions.
Appointment Policy

A credit card is required to reserve appointments.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Custom Airbrush Spray Tans:

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged 50% of the service price.

No-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

Mystic Spray Tan & UV Tanning:

No-shows and repeated last-minute cancellations may result in booking restrictions.
Refund Policy

All tanning services, memberships, packages, and retail products are non-refundable.

Service concerns must be reported within 24 hours so we can review and offer a solution when appropriate.

Opened skincare, tanning, and cosmetic products cannot be returned due to sanitation regulations.
Membership Policy

Memberships are month-to-month and automatically renew unless otherwise stated.

Membership dues are non-refundable.

Memberships are non-transferable.

Membership benefits are for the member only.

A valid payment method must remain on file.
Spray Tan Policy

Clients must follow all pre-care instructions provided before their appointment.

Bella Tan is not responsible for results affected by improper preparation, lotions, deodorants, makeup, sweating, swimming, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.

Any concerns regarding a spray tan must be reported within 24 hours with photos.
UV Tanning Policy

Protective eyewear is required during every UV tanning session.

Clients must follow recommended exposure schedules.

Bella Tan reserves the right to refuse service if tanning is deemed unsafe based on skin type, medication use, or recent overexposure.

Certain medications and medical conditions may increase UV sensitivity.
Health & Safety
For the safety of our clients and staff:

Do not tan if you have a contagious illness.

Inform staff of any medications that may cause photosensitivity.

Pregnant clients should consult with their healthcare provider before using UV tanning equipment or spray tanning services.
Children In The Salon

Children must remain supervised at all times.

Children may not be left unattended in the lobby, tanning rooms, or salon suites.

For safety reasons, children are not permitted in tanning rooms during services.
Respectful Environment

Bella Tan & Beauty is committed to providing a welcoming experience for all guests.

Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or clients will not be tolerated.

Bella Tan reserves the right to refuse service and terminate memberships for violations of salon policies.
